Loch Clash Stopover

Loch Clash Pier
IV27 4RR

Loch Clash Stopover CLOSED because of the COVID-19 crisis.

During the Covid-19 emergency, we have all been asked to stay home and travel only if essential.  Out of respect for the older and vulnerable members of this community, we ask that you not visit at this time.  The NHS services in this area can be easily overwhelmed.  We hope that you will visit when this emergency is over.

For more information about Loch Clash Stopover,
please contact Graham Wild at grahamandlynn@theuphouse.co.uk

We have 5  pitches for campervans and caravans – electricity, fresh water and waste disposal.  £15 per night.  Sorry – we are unable to handle booking in advance; however, there are normally sites available until at least late afternoon and often later.

On 16 May 2018, Loch Clash was visited by Wally the Walrus who has been travelling around the north coast of Scotland.  He is sleeping on the beach with the Loch Clash Stopover in the background.  After leaving us he appeared in Lochinver and then in Wick.

Dawne Noble, a recent visitor to Loch Clash, painted the view on a piece of slate she found on the beach there.  We feel that it really captures the feel of the site and Dawne has kindly allowed us to use this image.

We received a lovely email (via this website) from Tony and Sue Rochester who recently stayed at the Loch Clash Stopover camper van site.
